If Android stops a large copy or move after the task goes into the background, you do not always have to start over. Eligible tasks keep their completed progress and wait for you to continue them manually from the task list the next time you open FileOne.
After FileOne accepts a file task, it no longer depends on the progress screen. The transfer continues when you switch to the system home screen or another app. If you did not choose Run in background, the original progress dialog is still there when you return. The task entry at the top of the phone interface remains available for checking running and failed items.
Eligible large-file tasks save a controlled partial file and recovery record. If Android stops the task after it moves into the background, the task list keeps a recovery action the next time you open FileOne and does not restart the transfer by itself. Total progress includes previously transferred bytes, while speed and remaining time use only data transferred during the current continuation.
FileOne confirms that neither file was changed by another operation. If the source changed, the old progress is discarded and the transfer starts again. If a destination you previously approved for replacement has changed, FileOne asks again instead of silently overwriting it. A move deletes the source only after the destination is fully written and published.
